After breaking off conversation, Hunter finds that his father, Will Sopko, is one of the Yaravon representitives and, following a question and answer session, he and Reece join Hunter and Aria at the table. Almost completely ignoring his son, Will expresses an unusual interest in Aria. However, tensions eventually decrease and he asks her to come along so they can speak privately while Hunter continues his efforts at the party. Meanwhile, Aurelia, Jerri and Karn arrive in town and immediately head to the WNL to see Verity’s condition. However, as his infamous accomplices and hostage, all but Aurelia are apprehended. In the end, despite his reluctance to do so, he throws Aria from the dome, leaving her to plummet to her death. At the same time, Hunter strikes up small conversation at the party before being interrupted by Aria’s strange telepathic cries. Encountering Lea, he desperately searches for her before going to confront his father. Finding Hunter unfazed by his excuses, he admits to his crime before pulling his gun on Hunter. He apologizes profusely for the death of Aria, citing that it was a misunderstanding, but all opponents of the pillars must be stopped. Tarin practically lays out her ignorance before her and tells her to stay home. After a long, protracted arguement, Tarin finally releases her, giving nothing more than his best blessings for an endeavor he is sure that will lead his daughter to pain, suffering and the Gods know what else. In light of all that occurs, Zao offers his services to the party.
Chapter 81- Mirror, Mirror- Returning to Pernolde following the arguement with Aria's father, the group tries to set down and relax. Until Lea starts plotting.
