The Rose!

A dozen roses can say so much
A dozen roses can show you care
A dozen roses are nice to give
To see your face when you receive them and to know that they are not wasted on someone else
I hope you can receive them in the spirit that were given
To give them feels good
To see you smile is great
To see you happy is fun
Their beauty is dim in contrast to yoursand can only be a small token of may feelings and affection for you
When you hold them close to you they come alive with
your beauty and shine like a new morning sun

Just a little about me. I am 52 years old and just started writing peoms in October of 2001. I have never tried anything like this and now have over 100 assorted poems that I have written. I live in Norman, Oklahoma with my son Orie who is 14 and he and I just take it one day at a time. Grandpa once told me find someone you like
Grandpa once told me find someone you wants to be with you
Grandpa once told me find someone that is fun to be with
Grandpa once told me find someone like grandmaand you will be happy forever
I wish grandpa was here to meet you

THAT IS FREEDOM
THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS

THE RIGHT TO GIVE MY LOVE TO YOU
THAT IS FREEDOM
THE RIGHT NOT TO TAKE MY LOVE FROM ME

THE CHOICE IS YOURS

Direction!
North is a direction
South is a direction
You can go east
You can go west

But the best direction to go
Is the one that leads you to my heart
