COWGIRLS PRAYER

He packed up and left today,
He had to go it's the cowboys way,
He gave me a big hug, and a kiss on the cheek,
and promised that he'd be home early next week.
He climbed into his pickup truck and found himself a gear,
and as he left I couldn't stop, I shed another tear.
He knows that I love him, but I know he has to go,
thats how it is with the rodeo.
So please Lord give him the strength to fight,
to hang on tonite,
And give him wings if he should fall,
and the speed he'll need for his Cowboy Crawl.
Please give him a place to lay his head,
and no darn buckle bunny to share his bed.
I gave him my heart, my cowboy man,
and help him to realize that I understand,
He loves more than rodeo,
But the life is his blood, the event his soul,
And I'll be here through thick and thin,
whether he losses or whether he wins,
Help him Lord with the Glory he seeks,
and return him to me safely next week.

AMEN!!!
