Dear Daddy Mom and I were talking, we decided a few things, And I told her I wanted to tell you, Cause it only seems right to come from me. First of all my name, I want you to be surprized, But you know Daddy, Lane sounds bout right. I want to tell you thank you, just for being my dad, and for giving me the family, that mommy never had. Mommy says I'm lucky, to have a daddy like you, You know I bet she's right, cause I'll learn all you ever knew. I hope that I can be, the baby that you want, and that you'll always be proud, when my ego I start to flaunt. I also want you to know, I'll be the best that I can be, cause you gave me the boots to fill, and I'll fill them full you'll see. I know you'll say your proud, to have me for a child, even on the nights, when I drive you and momma wild. Mostly I want to say, thank you for my life, and for being the kinda daddy, that every child wish's for in the night. And when I stand on the stage, and accept that world title I am gonna win, I'll look out in the crowd, and say "THANK YOU DADDY" again. And the day that I have, a child of my own, I'll be able to pass down, all the Robert traits we've known.
