As The Sun Rises...
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
A hungry child cries not so far away.
While birds begin singing to fill the air,
Someone is praying to Someone up there.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
the news arrives. And what does it say?
Tough takeovers, crime flying and the weather.
There may be good news But rarely, is it ever.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
Children are aroused and they  want to play.
Hurry And Get Dressed, We're Pressed For Time!
It's enough nearly to blow over a mind.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
People Are Rushing So, That Is Our Way!
Accidents, Reported In various parts of town.
We Have Such Disorder, we Can't Slow Down.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
Someone Yells, "Hey,Get Outa' My Way!"
I Have Three Places To Be In Half An Hour
I'd Move On An Island, If I Had The Power.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
A Service is Disrupted, that's "The Hard Way"!
What vicious cycles, racing bills, climbing debt!
Such stress brings just utter resentment.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
Under bridges come those who had not a stay.
All people have dreams of rainbows in their night.
But of how they are living, it never gets right.
As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
Someone who is hurting thinks to pray,
Lord please don't let him hit me again.
How long to be strong before caving in?

As The Sun Rises upon a new day,
God's love still shines Down On Mankind
Because That is always His Way!
What hope knowing He watches up there
waiting to hear anytime and anywhere!
