| I am using my old primary on a wood support after i removed the first three inner turns to make place for the new secondary. I have to get some copper soft tubing for it. The ends of the secondary are not right parallel, so I couldn't use end caps. I insulated each end with two surgical gloves and plasticine (I hope that it is suficient). The top turns are insulated with adhesive band. The secondary was not coated in any way. The parts are not soldered, so I can experiment anytime. |
