| Bright DC high voltage spark. On the right side you see the spark gaps ( two thin wires with parallel alignement for each stage). On the left is a resistor chain (2 x 10 Mohms for each side of a stage). The resistors of the first stage were potted in plasticine (plastilin) for eliminating the flashovers.....but these problems will appear at the next stage. So, I have o insulate all the charging resistors. |
