The metal cases were obtained from my old ignition coils used in the dual ignition coil system - see my old page. They provide a better cooling for the screws used as spark gap in my TC. The spark gap performs better with the hairdrier and my old fan cooler used together, so, I think that a better quenching will improve the performance. The problem is that I have already many hits to the strike ring. Maibe a longer secondary is the solution.
