Summary: Chakotay and Kathryn dance
As Chakotay walks of the bridge he gets a messages:
2000 hours my quaters. No uniform.
Kathryn
2000 hours Kathryn quaters:
*beep bop*
`come in Chakotay, I`ll be right there.` As Chakotay walks into the living room he sees she made some changes, her books were no longer there and the table was moved to the viewpoort.
`Do you like it?` Kathryn asks as she walks into the living room. `It`s different but yes I like it.`
`Did you have anything for dinner?` Yes but tea would be nice.`
`One coffee black and one tea.`
As they materilised Kathryn walks to the table were Chakotay sat. As Kathryn sips off her coffee she looks out of the viewpoort. `Penny for your thoughts.` `What.... `What`s on your mind, your so quite today.`
*How I`m I gonna tell him I changed my mind, and I do love him and I want us to be more then friends?* `Kathryn what`s the matter?` `I had a question....``Yes....``Would you like to dance with me?` `What...` `O never mind I asked.`Yes...` `What....``Yes I would like to dance with you.`
Chakotay stands up and gives Kathryn a hand.
`Why don`t you choose the music?` `Ok....computer play, Chakotay alpha four Janeway without text.` As soft music floted into the room Chakotay and Kathryn dance.`Which song is this?` `It`s from the twentyfirst century.``Computer play Chakotay alpha four Janeway with text.` As they dance the music continious to play.

In the middle of the song they had stoped dancing and only listend to the music. As Chakotay looks at Kathryn he sees she`s crying.

As Kathryn looks at Chakotay and sees the pain in his eyes she touches his cheek so he looks at her. ` I feel it to I just...I just couldn`t admit it because I`m the captain and I have responsibilities, but when we danced it felt so good. I can`t fight it anymore Chakotay...I love you and I wanna be with you.`
'I have loved you from New Earth on and I want us to be more then friends if you still want it to.`
`I know you still loved me,but I wouldn`t push you because if I do it wouldn`t lead to anything...I love you, you love me and that is all that matters.` `O Chakotay...I love you for a very long time...`
`I know...and it doesn`t matter anymore...`
When Chakotay looks at Kathryn he softly touches his lips to hers and when there lips softly meet Kathryn sighs.
As they come up for air Kathryn laise her head on Chakotay`s shoulder. As she listens to his heartbeat she smiles softly.`What`s so funny?` `I just feel the same way when I had kissed with my first boyfriend.``O...well I better go now I`ll see you tomorrow on the bridge.` `Ok...see you tomorrow. Goodnight Chakotay.` `Goodnight Kathryn.`
As Kathryn lays in bed that night she knows that she has made the right decision and that she is home no matter where she is as long as she is with Chakotay. That night she slept better than ever.
