After reading all the rumors and news articles, I have narrowed down the field. These bond wannabies, I believe are to be the top 6 Contenders for the new James Bond.

 06.27.05...Recently "ER" doc GORAN VISNJIC , who was rumored to have screen-tested for the part. There's even been talk of doing a "young Bond" movie series to coincide with the recent release of Silverfin, which chronicles the character's formative teen years, with ORLANDO BLOOM   Full Story  -   Report via Yahoo News

 11.15.04...I just read according to SCI-SI Weekly that Actor's Colin Farrell & Julian McMahon are offially out of the running for James Bond. Farrell said "I would not like to do it. ... They should find someone the audience has no history with."

  As for McMahon, Unfortunately, he had to decline the offer, having recently signed a long-term deal  with his hit [F/X] TV drama series Nip/Tuck.
