Lauren was 8 and I was 12. I had always been taller than her before, but not now. Our parents were only 5'11 and 5'3, so I never thought that I or my sister would be very tall. She was as tall as me, and I didn't know when she would stop growning. The relatives thought it was cute, but i saw it as demining to me pride. To make matters worse she did not stop growing at the average women size of 5'6.
At Lauren's 9th birthday she was 5'9! Now at age 9 Lauren was taller than the average women, and to top it off she was taller than me!
