Entry in the "Texas" 25th Infantry Division is open to any one regardless of age, gender, race or background. Participation in Tactical Battle re-enactments, however, is somewhat limited. Participants must be 18 years of age, or 15 with a parent or guardian attending the event with them. Convicted Felons who are prohibited from firearm ownership are not allowed. Females are welcome, but must have a "non-combat" impression (ie. nurse, combat correspondant, etc.). Women served in many roles in Vietnam, but not as American Combat Infantrymen. By joining the 25th, you are subject to our authenticity standards, as well as the standards of event organizers. Authenticity is very important. You may, on occasion, be asked to portray troops other than the 25th Infantry Division. Your primary impression must be a Combat Infantryman. LRRP, Aviation, Armor, Medical and other impressions are welcome, as long as you have satisfactorily completed your basic impression. Adherance to the Unit Chain of Command at an event is of upmost importance. Failure to cooperate will lead to expulsion. We are not out here to play hero, or fight about who is in charge. If you have problems taking orders, and working with others, we don't want you.
