Sam's special:
Take one trimmed brisket and place in a
aluminum turkey pan.
Season brisket with "Stubbs" seasoning or whatever your favorite seasoning is.
Chop up carrots, onions and potato's and throw them in the pan with the brisket.
Cover with foil and place in BBQ pit (or oven) on a low heat.
300 degrees for 6-8 hours.
When cooked, cut brisket across the grain into tiny slice so that brisket is almost shredded.
Wrap brisket, potato's, carrots and onion in a tortilla and go for it.

The hard part is waiting for it to finish cooking.......
John's Special:
Take a vinison neck roast and stick fresh garlic slices in between the layers of meat on the neck.
Use a dry powdered cream of mushroom soup and rub the neck roast very good with it, add a smidge of salt and pepper.
Place in an aluminum pan with a 1/2 inch to an inch of water. Add your favorite veggie's, cover and cook on 350 degree's for 2 to 3 hours. Very good.

Rusty's Sausage and beans:
2 lbs. of pinto beans (make sure you check for rocks)
Place in a bowl and let soak overnight.
Place beans in a good size pot, and add chopped fresh garlic, onions, a jalepeno pepper, a small amount of chopped bell pepper and let cook covered on low heat for around 2 to 3 hours.
(If you do not have deer sausage, use a chunk of cut up salt pork and place in at the start)
When beans appear ready add sliced deer sausage and season all or season salt to taste.
Be careful with the season salt......it will have stronger taste the next day.
STEAKS:
These have to be cooked on the grill !
The afternoon or evening before cooking, rub the ribeye's down with some olive oil and your favorite seasoning.....mine is the montreal streak seasoning (excellent) Rub the seasoning into the meat.
Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge until the next day.
Use a grill that is already good and hot.
I eat my steak medium rare so the time for me is about 6 minutes on each side, if the fire is hot.
I know it's hard to tell looking at us, but next to drinking and deer hunting eating is our next favorite thing.........
NOT TO BE EATIN BY THE WEAK AT HEART........................
