| Texas Air Cargo is Expanding! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The virtual talks between Texas Air Cargo and UPS have resulted in a huge, open-ended contract. TAC will begin flying cargo and parcel packages out of Chicago O'hare, JFK, Charlotte-Douglas, and Memphis International very soon. This has led to the opening of a new hub in Memphis, TN. All UPS cargo will be flown into the Memphis hub for warehousing and distribution. There will be daily flights from the Memphis hub to the Austin hub for distribution of packages to points west of the Mississippi River. With this expansion, and the growth of Texas Air Cargo's roster, the need has arisen to hire a Hub Catain for both Austin and Memphis. A Director of Flight Operations will be needed as well to help the Chief Operating Officer in keeping daily operations of the airline flowing smoothly. Persons interested in any of these positions should read the job postings at the bottom of this page and e-mail the CO as soon as possible to make him aware of your interest. |

| 1st Employee of the Month Named | A Plea for Help | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Pilot Dan Sedler has been named as Texas Air Cargo's very first employee of the month. "This is something that should have happened several months ago, but unfortuneate incidents have prevented it," said Shane Bouton, TAC's Chief Operating Officer. PT. Sedler was awarded this distinction because of the "stick to it" attitude he displayed during the lull in TAC's activities. "Dan got right back into the swing of things as soon as we became active again," said Bouton. Sedler will receive a $1000 bonus in his TAC account and his name will be displayed on the homepage until the next month. Keep up the good work Dan. Who could the next EOM be? |
With the short lull in Texas Air Cargo's activites, the recent growth of our roster, and the company's expansion looming in the near future, we need help! This is the time in TAC's growth period where leaders need to step up and help the CO in making this the best cargo VA on the net. There are many people in this organization that can handle the duties and responsibilities that a company officer's position entails. The positions are out there for those of you who are willing to give a relatively small amount of your time to make a huge VA out of our little startup company. Once again, look to the bottom of this page if you are interested in becoming a company officer before we get so big that it will be hard to do so. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Memphis News Okay. It's no secret that we are opening a new hub at Memphis International Airport. We've been flying there for sometime now, but we thought you might like some information about the facilities. Memphis has been the #1 air cargo airport in the world since 1992. It is home to Fed-Ex and UPS. We will be operating out of the UPS Sort Hub, near the west end of runway 9-27, until our new hub is completed later this year. The Texas Air Cargo hub will be situated on a 207 acre site just south of the UPS hub. If you would like to learn more about Memphis International Airport, click here. |

| Secret Talks May Equal Big Opportunities | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| It has been discovered that Texas Air Cargo has recently been in closed door talks with certain virtual venture capitalists to create at least four spinoff organizations from Texas Air Cargo. It is not know exactly what these spinoffs will be, but it is known that they will not be VA's. Instead they will be some type of VA service sector entities. Rumor has it that a virtual financial institution or virtual insurance company may evolve out of these talks. What is known is that these virtual capitalists are very interested in Texas Air Cargo's management style and some of the idea's that it's Owner/Chief Operating Officer has had for some time. Although TAC officials would not make an official statement, Shane Bouton did allude to the fact that current members that are interested will play a vital role in creating these new entities. We at TAC news would like your opinion on this matter that could change the small company attitude of Texas Air Cargo. If you have an opinion on this matter, please click on the link at the very bottom of this page. |
