Ranger is a buff male American Cocker Spaniel. Age 3. Spoiled rotten!
His favorite thing to do is sniff. He was bred for hunting so he has silk short fur rather than the normal long curly.

Ranger was adopted in August 1999. His Daddy wanted a little buddy and we decided a cocker would best fit us. When we got to the place Dan had originally picked out a bigger male but that one was already promised to someone else.  Then Ranger jumped up out of the pen. When Dan picked him up he peed on him and I said well you have to take him he just picked you! Ranger had a rough start with medical problems but with a lot of TLC he is happy and healthy at the age of three.

Ranger does a lot of traveling. We have family in Texas as well as Northern NY....so that is how he got his name. He has been traveling since he was 10 weeks and doesn't mind a bit. ( well his house also travels with him so the only change for him is fresh grass to smell!)
