Should be getting fairly obvious since you have came this far. TCA
members enjoy cooking competition chili for the fun of it and for the
chance to win prize money or other nice awards..ribbons, trophies,
plaques etc. In order to have a place to do those things we enjoy we
created TCA to sponsor, sanction and promote chili cookoffs at various locations. We have our own rules (which are highly similar to the big
charity chili sanctioning organizations) and provide all the supplies
to conduct the cookoff including the head-judge who has ultimate
responsibility for the success of the event and to ensure fairness in
the judging.
