How you can do it with us

Is a very simple proposition.  Show up at one of our chili cookoffs and be ready to cook up a "pot of Texas Red" from scratch.  The chili must be cooked outside and in the open.  The chili must be meat and smooth red gravy only, cubed (1/2" or less) or chili grind meat as you prefer.  No beans or other fillers.  No prepared mixes, canned or frozen chili allowed.  Our entry fee is currently set at $25 payable in cash (no checks or credit cards please).  Out of the entry fees we pay back at least 80% to the winning cooks plus 100% of any added money which might be provided by the host location.

If you don't want to cook but just want to come hang out with us we can always put you to work as a table judge. That means you get to sample some great tasting Texas style chili for free.
