| My first attempt at a DVD case. (Well, technically my second; the original version of this was made for the Kitty Lickin' version of the show with an alternate sound souce.) I took the starship from the YesSongs cover and laid it over a view of the Earth from space. The font on the front is from "Bladerunner." | This show should have had some sentimental value for me, but unfortunately it really didn't. I was in the Boston area on this date, knew about the show, and came really close to scoring some tickets. I had already been a big Yes fan for several years at the time, and it would have been my first YesShow. Sadly, I didn't get tickets, not sure why. (My memory of those years is a bit foggy.... Hey, it was the seventies....) Anyway, I did see a few other shows as well as several Celtics games in the mid-seventies, so I do have fond memories of the Garden, which was sadly torn down several years ago. | I'm a comic book geek, and I've been dying to find a YesShow that I could tie a comic book theme to. Shaun's title for this one, "(re)Masters Of Time" got me thinking about time travel, and I remembered a 1960's DC comic book called "Rip Hunter, Time Master." I found pictures of some issues, changed things around some, then blended in a picture from a Classics Illustrated adaptation of H. G. Wells' "The Time Machine" for the front. I always found the ads on the back of those old comics really hilarious, so I took the infamous "hypnotism" ad and reworked it for the back. Finally, I took some panels from an old "Magnus Robot Hunter" book and created the interiors. | Shaun's title for this one, the French transaltion of "TFTO", got me thinking about French Impressionistic painters; hence the "Girl With Watering Can" (Renoir) on the back, with Roger Dean's artwork altered to appear more impressionistic.
