Diary for Dec. 7th (i think i don't know what day it is)

What is the one thing that gives human beings a will to live?  People are naturally born with something inside of us that says death is bad.
Is it fear? Because people aren't sure what's after death.  I don't think so cuz I know what's after death. Heaven or Hell and I know how to get to heaven and I believe i'm goin there, but I still have a fear of death, and a will to live.

Is it sadness because we know the pain we experience when someone dies, and we don't want our family dying? I don't think it's that either. Simply because humans are to self-centered for it to be.

I could blame society, how it portrays death as horrible, and scary.  But even before society can tell as those things, even as babies we have a will to live.

What is it that makes people accept death?  Like old people that are sick and wanna die. Or people who are depressed and wanna die.

Is it fear, because we don't know what's in the future.  We can't tell what's gonna happen ten minutes from now.

Is it sadness because we've seen the pain that life can bring, and we don't wanna experience it?

Is it society cuz society tells us how hard and painful life can be?

Mainly what i'm trying to say is having a will to live, or a wish to die is something inside of us.  It can't be because we don't know what happens when we die, cuz we don't know what happens when we live either. We can't see the future.  It can't be because we're afraid of the sadness of death, because then what about the sadness of Life?  It surely isn't society because society say life sucks.  Society also says death sucks.
Therefore  I've come to the conclusion that these things are just matters of opinion, things that God puts in are mind for some reason.
I decided to write this today because I got a call early this morning saying that a woman from my church died last night.  A year ago she had a stroke and has been wanting, praying, and wishing to die since then.  But I also know that at one point she wanted, prayed, and wished to live.  And that is something that intrigues me.

I wanna give a big shoutout to Becky Butler, and Emily the internet girl from Ottawa Illinois
