This saying has irritated me for some time now. I mean, who are you or I to say that everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time? Therefore, until such time as I get really irritated by it and stop, I will be putting my pants on both legs at a time. That way, whenever anyone says anything like this to me, I can honestly say that I don't.

Also, what about people who don't wear pants? This a wasted comment if they don't wear pants. What if they only have one leg? Then of course they put their pants on one leg at a time, it's just that they're done putting legs in after the first one.

Yes, I know this rant doesn't have much of a point to it. It's not the point for a rant to have a point. This saying has just irritated me for quite some time. Why should I listen to some anonymous quote maker's idea of how pants should be put on? It's not that hard to put your pants on both legs at a time if you have someplace to sit. So I no longer, for the time being, put my pants on one leg at a time.

I will, however, continue to put my socks on one foot at a time.
