I was a farm kid who lived
in a small village in New Brunswick who was looking for somthing that wasn't
taking care of a farm.
Training was hard but it should be. I somtimes
wish it was harder to see how much I could take.
I have to pee really bad and this mask smells like
old cheese.
My first tour we went up to Northern Ontario to
wrestle on some Native reserves. I had to drive a van full of sound
equipment every day for 3 days after each show on our way up north. So I
would drive for hours, set up the ring, wrestle big guys who just wanted to
hurt me, tear down the ring and drive again. The promoter did not pay me
or give me any food so for 3 day all I had was a half a snickers bar.(they do
not satisfy lol) Then Scott D'amour came to my rescue and bought me a hot
dog and fought with the promoter to get pizza so I could eat. I would
have it no other way. I can say without a doubt that I have paid my dues
and earned my place in wrestling. lol.
That dance is a bad joke that has gone too far but
seems to work with fans.
Going crazy and driving my wife nuts. It’s
hard to be on the shelf for a long time.
I’m an old school type wrestler who likes to wrestle
and put the business over, not myself. I love this business not
spots. So it was kind of fitting when my tag partner and best friend Mark
"Tornado" Bartolucci said that I should be called textbook.
This was after I gave him a suplex and said, " now that my friend is
textbook".
I was asked to come try out after sending 3 years
worth of tapes to the WWE. I wrestled my technical style and I think Fit
Finlay liked it because he picked me out of a handful of guys to work Sick Boy
in a dark match. It was awesome.
The on the spot match with Jamie Noble was
fantastic. I worked Bobby Rude and when I came back everyone was trying
to find a way to make up some time before Smackdown. They asked me
to go out and wrestle Jamie Noble for 10 mins. Everyone was watching in
the back and it was a good match. Thank you Mr. Noble.
That was one of my first goals to make the greatest
tournament in North America. So when I hurt my knee that was all I
could think about even when I was trying to finish the match. Not many
people know that I was still going to do the tournament and work harder that
ever before, but the WWE office told me not to so they could fix me up.
Wrestling and watching my kids get older.
I see wrestling getting more popular again. It
just has to get back to its roots.
Hard to say. I would for either one in a heart
beat. Just to make a living doing what I love to do full time.
One kid gave me a tape of him and his friends
wrestling in their backyard it was very entertaining.
It was
awesome to wrestle so close to home. The fans were great.
Of course, that would be great. I have been
offered this year to wrestle in the Maritimes but I can't until I’m better.
Joey from Friends.
Go to the movies with my wife or take the kids to
Toys R Us.
A very aggressive, bigger, healthy, entertaining
wrestling machine.
Work hard and stay healthy and have fun that goes
