Great Blue Heron, Ardea herodias
			On the left and the three above, Great Blues who regularly come to hunt in Frenchman's Park near where I live on the Stanford campus. (Note the evidence of a successful hunt on the bill in the picture just above.)
					The bird above is a juvenile; cinnamon edges in the wing coverts, all-gray rather than black and white crown, and no brown in the neck.
