Deteriorate
Signaling my intentions
Wether I'm changing lanes, stopping
Or running you off the road.
I feel that our social norms
Are starting to erode.
Natural reactions...
Out with flight and into fighting mode.
It's my right to have what's mine
and my right to have yours, too.
If I screw up, I'll blame it on you.
Life has no instructions
You learn them while you're playing
"Ignore me and I go away."
Or, "Badger me until I
Finally give you your way."
Social interactions...
It'll come back to haunt you one day.
It's my right to have what's mine
and my right to have yours, too.
If I screw up, I'll blame it on you.
Congress, institutions,
Teachers, Mom, Dad, video games,
The programs I see on TV.
Trying to get by in our blameless society
If my life here is rough.
The only person to blame is me.
It's my right to have what's mine
and my right to have yours, too.
If I'm screwed up, I'll blame it on you.
