He calls her up at college
On the phone the other day.
They talk about school, work, and family,
but that's not waht he want's to say.

Unsaid feelings,
Untold dreams,
Saying how feel
Not as easy as it seems.

He had a dream last night that
She was in his arms back home.
But he woke a thousand miles away
In the dark and all alone.

Unsaid feelings,
Untold dreams,
Saying how feel
Not as easy as it seems.

He soon will remove from his heart this heavy load.
He must do it or he will explode.

He wrote a letter to her
Asking why she never calls
Tempers flared, harsh words were said.
They don't talk anymore at all.
