I know you had a rougher life than I will ever live.
But after all is over you had so much left to give.
You helped me through the rough.
I owe to you a lot.
But I never saw the pain that you have fought.
I just don't understand.
Why would you want to end it?
Did it really seem pointless?
I'll never know your pain.
How could we have missed it?
Seeing all the signs
That said to us your heart was such a mess.
They told me that you're coming home; you were done with over there.
But when they finally told me why I could only sit and stare.
I felt like my heart had stopped.
I had almost lost a friend.
Didn't know why you wanted to end.
The tears started to form.
How were you going to end it?
I never want to know.
It's not important now.
With our help you can mend it
Know that you are loved.
We'll make sure you never get that low.
There for a while you always were so pissed off; always angry.
I figured that's just how you are.
Never thought your stress would go that far.
So glad you didn't end it.
Our lives would never be the same.
It's good to see you smile.
If friends and fam'ly can't fix it
Don't forget that God is there.
No matter what you're going through
He'll always be there for you.
