Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night

What's Wrong?

Look into my eyes
And your question will be answered
For you will rarely see a man
In such a deep state of misery as me.
Reflecting back at you
In the teary eyes that stare back beseachingly
You will see yourself.
You will see in my eyes the same image
That I see in my own mind's eye
Every moment that my heart still beats.
Your beautiful visage haunts me
In my dreams as your loveliness
Taunts me in my waking hours.
A man, a living soul can only take so much.
Every time I see you, I feel my lungs seize;
My heart quickens.
And every time you shy away from me
I die the little death.
