Every summer Seattle has 4 major festivals for the black community. The Garfield Community Festival, held by the Seattle Police Dept. The Soul Festival,held by KRIZ/KZIZ Radio. The Columbia City Festival, held by the people of the neighborhood. The Black Community Festival, held by the Central Area Community Council, and which Seattle is really known for from the minority community and nation.
Also during the Summer, Seattle Has whats called "Seafair", which involves Hydroplane races,Parades,community events all throughout Seattle, Waterfront festivals and alot more. Come on in and see whats going on around Seattle.
