disclaimer

From mid-April of 2001 to mid-April of 2002, I am residing in Japan, first studying the language for three months in Kanazawa, then interning as a trainee at Nippon Steel Corporation in its Research and Engineering center in Futtsu for nine months. I have been writing irregular mass e-mails which I'm now posting on this website as well.

I have found a scanner in the office that I can use, so I am dandan adding links to the HTML versions of my Nihon News which upon clicking show exciting pictures of exotic locales and beautiful people. Proof: the top picture to the left!

And finally, I'm not the only one who's in this program. Stefan Gächter is slaving away at Koyo Seiko in Nara and has his own tales to tell. Well worth a visit!
