Houdini is Ginny's hamster. She got him in Nov 2001. He's quite cute. His name was originally Smokey, but since he escaped his cage, his name changed. We had to buy an "anti-escape" cage. He seems pretty comfortable in it, and loves his treats of sunflower seeds! He is a bundle of energy! (Especially at night, running in his wheel.)

We rescued Coco Puff from the Shelter in Sept of 2001 (just a few days after 9-11) and love her very much. She was 18 months old when we got her, and had just weaned a litter of puppies. She is NOT spoiled, or is she??

She really doesn't bark much, unless she sees another dog, then, plug your ears! She loves to play, and barks to let them know she is there. We often take her to dogparks. They are wonderful! A fenced in place where dogs can run free to play with other dogs.

(this is Coco and another chocolate lab sniffing noses at the park. Coco's friend Flipper is in the background)

The girls are teaching her how to catch a frisbee, and she is getting good! She is jumping up in the air to get it. She loves to ride in cars, and just gets sooo excited when we come home from work or school! She also loves sleeping in our beds - she occasionally kicks Sharon out of hers at night!

Terry's first dog, Roxy, was a Rottweiler. She was about 12 years old when she passed away and was the "fastest tongue in the west"! She'd lick you faster than you can blink your eyes!
Roxy passed away in April from cancer :'-(

We have recently moved all of the information on our departed pets to here. Please come visit this page with us, and help us to remember all of our departed pets fondly!

Her second dog, Cricket, is about 2 years old. Terry got her from the pound. She is a mix (we think) between a Jack Russel terrier and a wired hair dauchsund??? Terry bought Cricket to keep Roxy company while she was at work - now Cricket is Indy's playmate. She also is a master rodent killer - she has an oppossom, a few rabbits and 2 guinea pigs under her belt, so to speak. We are mad at her about the piggies, but that is what that type of Terrier was bred for. You can't get mad at breeding... can you?

At Halloween in 2000, as a housewarming gift, one of Terry's co-workers gave her a 4 week old puppy: half boxer/half (whatever got into the backyard) and her name is Indy.

In this picture, she is a few months old, and is getting bigger!
This is Indy and Cricket begging - a common sight!!! Notice how much bigger Indy is than Cricket. In the picture of Indy on the couch, she and Cricket were the same size! My how they grow!
