About the Book:
Plot Summary: Remember Nina, the girl who got the kids at Harlow, the girls' school in Among the Imposters to confess to being illegal children?  Well, she's the star of this book.  As it turns out she wasn't working for the population police, but is really an illegal child herself.  She is sitting in the jail, and the "hating man" asks her to get three children, to confess.  The kids are small, and Nina doesn't want to do anything to them.  Finally, she gets a chance to escape, and takes the kids to the one place she knows, which is the school she was before.  There she meets Lee Grant, and learns some surprising things.
My comments: * * * There was something short about the book that I didn't like.  Personally, the best part about the book was how the reader got to see the other end of what Nina and Jason were doing to betray the kids.  The most interesting detail was how Nina was in love with Jason, and the fact that he liked her back.  It made the story more complex, how Nina was good and Jason was evil.  But Nina loved Jason just the same.
