Q: Are you Margaret Peterson Haddix?
A: No. I am simply a seventeen year old fan of her books who happens to maintain a website.
Q: Do you have Margaret Peterson Haddix's email address?
A: No, I don't, and I wouldn't give out unless it was a specific one that she set up for readers questions. If I did have that type of address or how to get it (which I don't), I would put it up here. Seeing as I don't have it up here, I DON'T HAVE IT. If you really want to write to her, you can write to Ms. Haddix (and any other living author for that matter) care of the publisher's address on the inside of the books. The publisher will forward your letter and make sure Ms. Haddix receives it. You might even get a reply back.
Q: What's YOUR email?
A: the_amazee_az@yahoo.com All I ask is that when you email me, please mention the website in the subject heading, lest I take it for spam and delete it.
Q: Where can I find "Fine?" and "Going Through the Motions?".
A:"Fine?" is part of Lois Duncan's On the Edge: Stories at the Brink anthology, while "Going Through the Motions" is part of Marylin Singer's I believe in water: twelve brushes with religion.
Q: Where can I find a biography on Margaret Peterson Haddix, or information about her in general?
A: The Biography Today:Author Series includes a piece on Mrs. Haddix. It's part of a series of short biographies about authors of interest to kids and young adults. A lot of great authors are covered in addition to Margaret Peterson Haddix, such as Luarie Halse Anderson, Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Lemony Snicket) amd Francine Pascal (too name a few). You can probably find the book in your school library, or the reference section of your local library.
Q: I wrote a story about some of the characters in Margaret Peterson Haddix's books- will you post it on your site?
A: Sure! Just submit the story along with your pen name. Be sure to mention the website in the heading. I might edit some spelling/grammer mistakes if I see them when I read it- but I'll do the best I can to get the story up in its original format. |
