Leia Palpatine

She seemed to be the one who would finish an old maid, but will Leia really end up like that?

Leia Palpatine was born with her twin brother Luke on the day of the fall of the Republic and of the rise of the Empire. The little brunette (oh, not another one) looks like her mother on many points, not only physically, but also psychologically. Unlike Luke and Mara, Leia was not as strong as them with the Force. The only thing in what she was truly good was studying. Leia likes politics. It was her favorite subject, but she was also highly succeeding in all the other subjects. Her dream was to help her grandpa and to become his representative in the Empire. Unfortunately, like Mara, she suffers the fact that she is a girl. But, as she was annoying so much Palpatine, he finally told her to classify some piles of documents. This was supposed to discourage her, but it didn't, as she was happy to help her grandpa.

As her strong personality and bright intellect molded her into an exceptional person, Leia became the voice of reason in her 'crazy' family, helping to solve their personnal (and sometimes mental) problems. But as time passed, she started to understand what her brother was feeling when he was saying that he wasn't at his place in this family. Leia was feeling lost too, as if it was missing her something. Perhaps was she too serious for a Darksider. She tried to forget politics a bit, but it didn't work. Something was bothering her, really bothering her. She looked at her family, at Luke who wanted to commit suicide again, at Mara who was so mad that she made Shmi cry, at Padmé who was argumenting as always with her father-in-law, at Anakin who was trying to run away to avoid them and to repair his Tie Fighter, and then, Leia became tired of them, SHE BECAME REALLY TIRED! She screamed that they were all insane and she ran in her bedroom. Stupefied by this sudden and violent attack of nerves, they all agreed to send Mara see what the problem was.

Mara entered in the room, discovering Leia breaking everything in it. Leia wasn't acting like that since she was a child. She used to like the decoration of her bedroom. She would have never wanted to break all the objects of art that were in it, but she was doing it, right now, in front of Mara's eyes. Mara tried to calm her down and asked her what was the problem. In fact, Leia didn't even know. She had just enough of her family, they were all getting on her nerves. She was tired to hear about their problems, and mostly about their couple problems. Then, Mara began to understand. Leia was the only one who wasn't in couple. Perhaps was she needing a boyfriend. The kind of life she was living wasn't sane for a Darksider.

Mara went to explain her idea to Luke, but as he wasn't caring about his sister, Mara became angry (again) and decided to frustrate her boyfriend (again). She went in a bar of Coruscant, knowing that he would follow her, and started to make him become jealous by flirting with all the guys, much more older than her. As one of them began to insult her (he seemed to ignore who she was, he was probably very drunk), another guy rushed to save her, if we can say that this way. Mara explained that she could have save herself alone, but as she felt that Luke was becoming more and more jealous, she started to flirt with her 'savior'. He wasn't drunk, but he wasn't knowing who she was either. He was a kind of traveller, but Mara was still not understanding how he couldn't know her. I mean, everybody in the Empire should have seen her face somewhere! Anyway, she asked to that guy if he wanted to accompany her to her home, as she was still afraid (you know she's not, it's only to make Luke jealous). When they arrived at the Imperial Palace, the guy seemed confused and Mara explained him that her parents were working there (duh!). She made him enter and she mentally called Leia. When she arrived, the guy find her cute, even with her buns on her head, and Leia find him cute too, even if he was many years older than her. The guy didn't recognize Leia either (but where did he hide himself all these years?!?) and Mara introduced him to her. His name was Han Solo (you begin to understand now, huh?). Leia seemed to recognize him, but she couldn't find where she first saw him. Anyway, as Han had some work, he left the Palace, ignoring in what kind of troubles he had just put himself...
