Ryoo Naberrie is the elder daughter of Sola Naberrie, and niece to Padmé Naberrie Palpatine. The straight-haired girl was six years old during the events that sparked the Clone Wars. When the stresses of the galactic politics would overburden Padmé, she would find respite and perspective in the carefree spirit of her young nieces, whom she loved dearly.
Jobal and Ruwee Naberrie were delighted at the news they were to be grandparents. Ryoo was named after Sola's maternal grandmother, a name shared by a blue and yellow flower that grows on the outlying hills near Keren. As a six-year old, Ryoo was definitely the more temperamental of the two Naberrie girls. Looking a lot like Padmé, she inherited a bit of her temper, but she also inherited many things from her mother, Sola.
She was first happy to learn about her cousins' birth, but even if she was only eight years old, she started to understand that she would finish to hate her bratty cousins. This was eventually proved three years later as Padmé had brought her children with her to visit her family. She let them alone with their cousins some time, hoping they would get along well. The only problem was that Luke and Leia were Force-sensitives and especially Darksiders. As Pooja, Ryoo's younger sister, didn't want to let her cousins play with her toys, they managed to make them fly everywhere in the room, traumatizing Pooja and making Ryoo starting to hate them.
Three other years later, as Ryoo grew up still being the more temperamental cousin, Padmé decided to bring back her children on Naboo. She hoped that they would behave themselves, now older than the last time. Unfortunately, they couldn't do that. As they were both bored, they went in the garden and started to make fade Pooja's flowers. This really frustrated Ryoo and she couldn't restrain herself now. She started to insult them, but a little bit too much, saying that she hoped to live to see Palpatine's death. Of course, Luke and Leia didn't like that (their grandpa is hating and frightening them, but it's their grandpa) and they started to practice their mind strangulation on Ryoo. They would have stop before she dies, but Padmé and Sola interrupted this training session by rescuying Ryoo.
Ryoo's life started to change with this last emotion her cousins gave her. Now REALLY hating them, she believed there was surely ways to defeat them. She asked her mother to learn her some things about the Sith. Ryoo then started to understand that they weren't as strong as what they were thinking they were. Asking them who was their boss could cause their end: they would start to fight with each other. Eventually visiting the Imperial Palace (because of one of Padmé's great ideas as usual...), Ryoo also understood that the Palace wasn't so invincible that it seemed to be. If it was blowing up, all the Imperial Family would die, as they were always staying there. It's with this thought of revenge that Ryoo find a reason to live, hoping and knowing that she would see them die and that she would be the one to cause their death...
