| 1.Fav Foo song? Wow. That's a tough one. This is a Call always reminds me of my first foo show. Stacked Actors is such a rad song. Fraternity.... My Poor Brain... It's always changing. 2.Best Foo gig you've been to? Beale Street Music Festival, Memphis - 5/6/00. This was one of the best shows ever played. It was awesome. 3.Fav Foo video? Everlong. Learn to Fly has been overplayed, so I think I got sick of it. But it's hilarious. TENACIOUS D ROCKS! 4.Ever been an extra in a Foo video? Not that I know of... not for lack of trying though. I did design some of the props on the next year shoot though... I was on hand for the last 2 video shoots and helped dave slick his hair down with spit for the Breakout video. What a nerd. 5.Best Foo related moment? Going on stage with the Foo's my last night on tour. 6.Fav bit of foo memorabilia that you have? Lammies. Various Laminates are a keepsake. But also one of the "Foo" astronaut hats from the next year video. My favorite *was* Dave's smashed Gibson R&D he gave me, but that I turned over to Gus, because he is the ultimate superfan. 7.Fav venue to go to a gig? Funny enough, the Viper room in LA. The sound system rocks, and it's intimate. 8.What do you hope the next Foo ablum will be like,heavy/softer? Heavy. I've always appreciated the softer side, but they are a superior driving rock band. Looking forward to probot for sure. Don't like the sappy stuff... 9.Do you play any instruments? Yes, I've played drums since I was a kid, I also used to play violin. I play drums in a band called Empire. I also play guitar in a band called Martinsville. No, we don't sound anything like the Foos. 10.Ever jammed with the Foos? I wish. I almost played a soundcheck with them, but alas, it didn't happen. Does air drumming with Dave count? |
