This picture shows Buffers club member Roy  Hopkins taking down train numbers at Lostock Hall,  in November 1967. For the modeller, there is plenty of interest here.....the grounded coach body, the dirt and neglect of the near-end of steam and the hard worked life of the locomotive, 44917.
