BUFFERS final meeting of the year was particularly well attended.
John Reily presented a video on Southhampton Docks which generaly covered the period from the 1920's to the middle of the last decade of this century.
Roy Hopkins presented a video of footage taken recently in Britian which emphasised the many new liveries to be seen on the British Railway system.

A military flavour dominated displays at the meeting. Joe Belecky is incorporating a WWII fighter station into his module for the GBTS. Joe is developing ideas from the Corgi (manufactured by Metcalf ) aircraft hanger and Nissen huts.

John Reily has donated a period coach and military vehicle .

Les Norris brought along a number of his scratch built military vehicles for display. Les will be off to Florida for a while in the the new year.

Some discussion took place on the subject of card models, ie Superquick and Metcalf. David Foster ( British Connection) reported he had not heard of any new Superquick models, although a number of new card models are available from Metcalf, including a single track viaduct.
