Considerable discussion took place between our members with respsect to our Club commitments in April.
Roy Hopkins reported on his recent trip to Panama and his observations of the area of the canal, both in terms of shipping and locomotion. Roy is off to Britain April 16th. His trip will include a special steam journey where the motive power will be 46233 Duchess of Sutherland. The run is planned to go as far norht as Carlisle via Shap. Roy will be reporting at our May meeting with video material of this trip and of last yeat's trip behind A2 60532 Blue Peter.
Yanis Smit displayed the smokebox and chimney for his 3.5" gauge County Class locomotive, County of Monmouth.
Ed Spencer reported on locomotive developments past and present at general Motors Diesel Division.
Andrew Hopkins described and displayed some trees he had made for the Buffers module.
Joe Belecky discussed plans for April 13th, 27th and 28th.
Members were pleased to see Les Norris at our meeting.
Geoff Chandler had for display, Buffers identification for use at the upcoming shows.
For many years we have been using a memebrship card produced by our later founder, Les Torrens. With the kind co-operation and assistance of Mark Fagan of @PRINT, 297 Exeter Rd in London, a new card has been designed. The card features A2 60532 Blue Peter at Grosmont, North Yorkshire. The card was developed and produced at no cost to the Buffers.
Our April meeting will be held at the usual 83 Elliot Street location on the 16th of the month. Starting at 13:00 and running to around 16:30. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served as usual.

May - The layout tour of Sarnia / Pt Edward area has been cancelled.
June 23rd - Stratford- Joining the Platelayers at the home of William Bickley. NEW DATE
at the Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre, 292 Conestoga Drive, Brampton Ontario.
