My Review Page

I decide to start this page to-day (18th of March 2000) after sitting online listening to an album I bought awhile ago and just really started to listen to the other day. It is Death... Is Just The Beginning V, from Nuclear Blast in Germany. I found this two cd album to be a great little addition to my collection of music. I am getting stuck on four different tracks that I am just crazy for:
Disc One Track 8:
Ribbons/Requiem '99 Agathodaimon
Disc Two Track 2:
Rebellion Hollow
Disc Two Track 9:
The Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah Therion
Disc Two Track 11
All The Little Devils Dismal Euphony

This album has truly been a joy to listen to with a various selection of sounds. It is not for everyone, but those who love music like I do should add this to their collection....

If you would like to buy it Amazon.com has it for about $15, which is less than I paid:(

Short Review: Mechanical Animals: Marilyn Manson

I listen to the music, the words, I hear the meaning, but truthfully I feel something is missing within it as a whole. The album seems to be something of a change for the band Marilyn Manson, they are who they were before, you hear it in the words, but really I sense a masking of some sort. The music itself seems to belong to something else, a test perhaps, a long lost memory, but the music to me seems to take attention from the lyrics. The lyrics are those of love and truths of life, but the music makes the emotions you expect to associate with the words cold, empty, and distant. I do not think that is album was one of the better ones, the raw emotion and intensity is lacking. I do not dislike this album, I can stand in within certain mind frames, but I truthfully would not recommend it to others. Their earlier works seemed to catch more completeness. I note that this is just my opinion, and maybe I lack the understanding to cherish this album more than I do, in that case I do so apologize.
