When I began seriously looking at homeschool as an option for my children I set out to learn as much as I could. I also prayed earnestly - mostly that God wouldn't make me do it!! : ) I spent a full year in research and prayer before making the decision to bring my children home from public school.
I found lots of encouragement along the way and hope to pass on that encouragement to others who may also be facing a decision on their child's education . The Green Willow is a compilation of the information that I found most helpful during that time. On this site you will find links to all sorts of helpful homeschool sites, many of which I literally pored over as I agonized over pulling my kids from public school.
I will also be adding tips, ideas, and links for help with household organization and living on a budget. My experience has been that living in a single-income home is NOT impossible - even in this day and age!
