Captain Power
First appearance: (As Dr. Christine Carr) Spider-Man: Chapter One #1; (As Captain Power) Amazing Spider-Man V.2 #9

Years ago when young Peter Parker was first bitten by the irradiated Spider that gave him his unique powers a young lab assistent to Otto Octavious named Christine Carr was affected as well by the incident. Carr recieved powers, but unlike Peter she chose to use her powers for more devious plans. Making a grand enterance years later Carr, now in a more masculine form and calling herself Captain Power, chose to get back at all those who attended the experiment for insane plans of personal retribution.

In time Carr reached Octavious, now the criminal Dr. Octopus, and Peter Parker. Dr. Octopus, having discovered the true identity of Captain Power was taken captive, as Carr went to get revenge upon the financer of the original experiment Dr. Twaki, who aslo happened to be Peter's boss. Learning the full story from Ock, Spider-Man stopped Carr, taking away her powers as well. Carr, now a shrivled, barely alive husk swore vengeance on Spider-Man.

Powers and Abilities: As Captain Power, Christine had flight, super-strength and energy based blast abilities. Since her fight with Spider-Man however, Carr's powers seem to have been nullified.
