Episode Guide   -   First Season (1999-2001)
1.  WORLDS APART - PART I  airdate 10/02/99
When a shuttle carrying John Jameson to a counter-earth found on the opposite side of the sun is hi-jacked by Venom and Carnage, Spider-Man ventures out to the unknown world to rescue John. Equipped with a new suit made of tiny nano-circuits, Spidey arrives in the new world only to be taken away by strange "beastials", creatures that rule the other world...and want to examine Spidey from the inside out!

2.  WORLDS APART - PART II  airdate 10/09/99
John Jameson's resistance rescue Spider-Man from counter-earth's High Evolutionary, and explain how a duplicate earth was taken over by a madman and how his "beastial" creations rule over the human population. His shuttle destroyed, Spidey decides to set up shop in the new world, and meets Naoko, a doctor, and her son Shane, who offer Peter a place to stay during his stay.

Spider-Man Unlimited: Spider-Man

3.  WHERE EVIL NESTS  airdate 10/16/99
The real reason for Venom and Carnage's interest in counter-earth is revealed: The nerve center for symbiotes, the synoptic, has called them to counter-earth, and in order to stop the deadly duo, Spidey has to team up with the counter-earth version of his greatest enemy...The Goblin, a man with a mysterious connection to Naoko.
Notes: This was the final episode of "Spider-Man Unlimited" to air during it's initial run on FOX in 1999.

4.  DEADLY CHOICES  airdate 12/16/00
The origin of the mysterious rebel known as Git is revealed, as the resistence goes head to head with the High Evolutionary's knights for a device that may spell the end of counter earth. But when the two groups call a truce, the device is just taken away by Venom and Carnage, while a super-strong stranger stalks Naoko.
Notes: This was the first new episode of "Spider-Man Unlimited" to air in over a year.

5.  STEEL COLD HEART  airdate 12/23/00
An early version of a machine man shows up, functioning, and develops a respect for human culture. The Knights of Wundagore want the machine man, known to it's friends as X-51 back for studying, but in the end X-51 allies himself with the rebels, and Spidey learns that John Jameson's shuttle is still intact and being held by the High Evolutionary.

6.  ENTER THE HUNTER!  airdate 01/13/01
The Hunter, one of the few humans to have entry into Wundagore Castle, is hired by Sir Ram to capture Spider-Man and kidnaps Karen O'Malley and Naoko to get at him. Spidey is able to stop the Hunter barely in the end and is sent away to lick his wounds.
Notes: The Hunter is the counter-earth version of Kraven the Hunter.

7.  CRY VULTURE  airdate 02/03/00
The counter-earth version of the Vulture, an over the top environmentalist, encounters Spidey and the two become fast friends in the fight to stop the High Evolutionary.

8.  ILL MET BY MOONLIGHT  airdate 02/10/01
Peter and Naoko are attacked at the latter's house by a strange, white Man-Wolf, who turns out to actually be John Jameson. John explains that when he arrived on counter-earth he was experimented upon by the High Evolutionary to become a human beastial, and that Naoko gives him treatments to control the transformations. Later a plan to infiltrate Wundagore Castle to get the whereabouts of Jameson's shuttle leads to an encounter with the counter-earth Electro, and it's only the Man-Wolf's arrival that saves the day.
Notes: The counter-earth Electro is one of the more popular characters amongst SMU fans, although he dissapears in a blast in this episode and is not seen again, having presumably parished in the explosion.

9.  SUSTENANCE  airdate 03/03/01
The Goblin follows Peter Parker, discovering he's Spider-Man and warning him to keep away from Naoko. Spidey tells the Goblin that he's actually trying to get off of counter-earth and the duo track down Jameson's shuttle in Atlantic City, hidden in a main genetic lab headquarters. Spidey and the Goblin meet the rejects, creatures created to be beastials, but under formed. Spidey and the Goblin are captured by the rejects and taken to the High Evolutionary, but a fight ensues and as the shuttle is blasting off, Spidey finds himself letting it go to continue with his fight on counter-earth.

10.  MATTERS OF THE HEART  airdate 03/10/01
Bromley, one of John Jameson's freedom fighters, recieves a note from his long lost brother who's being held by the Knights of Wundagore. Spidey in tow, Bromley heads to Wundagore Castle to save his brother who's actually working for the High Evolutionary, and lured Bromley and Spidey there for a promotion. After a brief fight, the brother is accidently knocked into a cleaning tank and eaten alive.
Notes: In the opening scene at the ballpark there's a nice little flashback with Peter (in his regular suit) and Mary Jane.

Spider-Man Unlimited: Venom

11.  ONE IS THE LONELIEST NUMBER  airdate 03/17/01
As Venom and Carnage proceed with their plans, a set back occurs when Venom separates from Eddie Brock, leaving Brock in failing health and under the care of Naoko. In order to save Brock, Spidey has to bond with the symbiote again and recreate his greatest enemy to save his life.
Notes: There's a nice bit when Spider-Man bonds with the Venom symbiote and spends a couple of minutes in his old alien costume suit, and there's a neat flashback to the original Venom Saga from the 1995-1998 Spidey series.

12.  THE SINS OF OUR FATHERS  airdate 03/24/01
I missed this episode. If any one can send in a synopsis that'd be nice.

13.  DESTINY UNLEASHED  airdate 03/31/00
The High Evolutionary, fed up with Spider-Man's interference and the human resistence, decides to eliminate all humans from Counter-Earth and kidnaps Spidey, Venom, Carnage, John Jameson and his rebels. However Spidey barely stops the High Evolutionary only to learn of the Synoptic releasing symbiotes all over earth. Will Spidey save the day?
Notes: This episode was the final episode to air, ending on an unresolved cliffhanger.
