the plot: A new designer drug found in Miami, Florida has star reporter Ben Urich and ace photographer Peter Parker (with his lovely wife Mary Jane in tow) down there to get to the bottom of things, while dealing with the ongoings in the lives of their dear friends the Connors, who've hit a hard time in their life. Young Billy is stealing, Curt is despondant and possibly hiding something and Martha doesn't know what to do. As Peter and Ben look into things though, they learn that Curt, in his evil alter-ego the Lizard, has created a drug that transforms people into lizard men, and Billy has taken the drug. Only after a brief fight between Spidey and the Lizard, does Martha get through to her troubled husband and Curt becomes human again, vowing to seek counseling for his troubled mind.
