Spider-Man: The Animated Series Venom II (1995)
review by justin anderson
the desription:
the articulation: The figure is articulated at the neck, shoulders, hips, and knees,
for 7 total joints.
the design: It's an animated series toy, so it's a basic standing pose with limited
motion. The arms stick out,
both hands open, one turned up, the other down. The figure is much larger than the first
Venom (the one with the opening mouth).
The body would be reused for a later Venom, and the torso and legs modified for
Apocalypse from the
Age of Apocalypse toyline. I didn't mention the network of raised vein details
covering the toy, either. The
toy stands at 5" tall.
The head is a solid Eddie Brock head, with short yellow hair(based off the
cartoon appearance). A rubber mask is
included, which fits over the head. It's a bit large, though, and being rubber,
the paint will crack over time.
The only other accessory is a "transforming symbiote" piece, with torso muscles
amidst a blob. It was a leftover
piece from an older Marvel toyline, and is essentially useless.
the review:
It's old, but still shows what a good Venom figure can look like. ***** of
