the plot: When Spider-Man is framed for murder during an electronics heist, New York's newest and mightiest heroes the Thunderbolts are called in to bring him in. Tha catch is the Thunderbolts are really the Masters of Evil in disguise, and one of their ranks, Mach-1, (aka the Beetle) happens to be a former sparring partner of Spidey's and is sure that he's innocent. It turns out that the real thief and killer is an android sent by the technological wizards of the Enclave, and the T-Bolts and Spidey realize what's happening and go to stop the villains. A battle ensues between the heroes and the Enclave and their mindless drones, until the Enclave uses their bio-modem to take over the heroes minds, save Spidey and Mach 1. Soon the others regain control and the Enclave flee, taking their machinery with them, and Spidey and the Thunderbolts part company on good terms, though Mach-1 is left to ponder his new fate as a true hero.
