Early into young Peter Parker's career as Spider-Man, he encountered a bank robber using vibration enducing gloves to further his pursuits. The criminal, called the Shocker was promptly defeated by Spidey and sent off to jail, though it's assured that he will return to get revenge on the young hero who bested him.
