Hi my name is Euan McIntyre (online name Waxoyl Fan Club/ Waxy) I am 29 years old and live in Falkirk Scotland. I am married to Ruth (another Riggie) and we have four cracking boys. I first got into Runrig in 1990 at high school, and the excellent Searchlight album started my interest in the group. Since then I have bought the albums and grown to appreciate the message in the music of Rory and Calum. Describing myself in short is not easy, but I’ll try – tall good looking and funny, well maybe not all three but if you could use the first two it will do wonders for my inferiority complex!!! |

Hi ya Im Jezza, allot of people call me Jez or just lately Jezza Fezza(haha DON’T ASK) I am from Ripon, but I now live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, I have been a Runrig fan for ages now. I have actually lost count more or less of the number of times I have seen the lads play, every time they seem to be getting better and better. I feel I have a real connection with the music of Runrig even down here in Yorkshire because I come from a place where folk music is a very big thing, and I enjoy it when the Morris dancers are in Ripon. I am a massive fan of Malcolm Jones really but I like all the rest of the lads equally just Im a guitarist myself and love the way Mal plays the way he does, he’s GOD.

Hi I'm Annie...named Anniebach by my 2 nieces as they are both taller than me (bach being Welsh for small !!)
I live in Brecon in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Mid Wales and have done so for most of my life. The only other place I would want to live would be Scotland.
I discovered Runrig on one of my annual walking trips to Scotland about 9/10 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I've travelled around England, Scotland and Wales to see them and have loved every minute of every concert and the 'meets' beforehand.
I've been on the messageboard and in the chatroom for just over 2 years now and have made so many new and very dear friends through there...it truely has changed my life. |

Hi my name is Janette McCubbin {Jinty/Jazz on line}, I am 36 1/2 years old,{3/10/1967}. I live in Ardrossan, Ayrshire, Scotland. {West coast}. I have 1 daughter called Kirsty who is nearly 15. I have been a runrig fan since 1988, after hearing the C D called The Cutter And The Clan. My favourite song from that cd is Hearts of Olden Glory, But my all time favourite songs are Every River, then Flower of the West. The high and low points of Runrig for me was at Stirling Castle on August 30th which was Donnie Munro's last concert, high because of the vast amount of people there and low point because it was Donnie's last with RunRig. |
