I was born in Brora on 16th June 1948, but lived most of my days in Alva. I married my dear Liz on 30th June 1979. Had our daughter Arlene in 1981 and our son Andrew (Fieryearthwolf) in 1984 during the miners strike. I worked in the mines then. Left mines in 1986 and had a few jobs until my present job as Leisure attendant.  I had a heart attack in 2001 and have been taking it a bit easier ever since (not easy enough according to Liz) . I used to go to Ibrox to watch Rangers until the Ibrox disaster in 1971 that scared me off.  I actually had a car puncture that day, arrived late and was rerouted to another stairway from my normal (13) which was the one where the disaster happened. Lady luck was with me that day.  My hobbies are music especially Runrig. I have played various instruments over the years.  I've always liked Runrig but didn't go to my first gig until Perth last year. I'm completely besotted by them since then and listen to them I reckon on an average of 5 hours a day.  Fiery keeps getting on to me about it. At the concert Liz kept telling me to cool it but I just couldn't help myself.  I love the messageboard and now have loads of new friends through it although I'd probably pass them in the streets cos I don't know what they look like . I don't even know what sex a lot of them are, I'm still finding out.  Love you all RIGGIES.
