My name is Inga or RunPepper born in Germany in Bremen and lived my last 11 years in Remscheid nearby Cologne/Koeln and have two sons, one is living with me and my older son is living with his Dad in Germany. I got hooked with Runrig( Cutter and the Clan) in 1995 through a friend on his Birthdayparty. A week later there was a housewarming at friends I met at the party and at this night all night long they played Rynrig and I asked them who it is. They couldn't believe it that I didn't know Runrig at this time. So they told me that in the Summertime there would be an open air gig at the Loreley and so I said (without any thinking if had the time or could afford it or what so ever lol), please by me a ticket and so they did and we went together, what a night it was. It was a festival and just before Runrig so I headr for the very first time live Mike and the Mechanics as well. I started to buy all the CD's step by step and my first one was "Searchlight" and the same day I bought the "Big Wheel" coz they were all cheaper and I'm still trying to collect same rare Vinyls if I can. So in 1996 I went on my own to Duesseldorf the very last day of the Mara tour and wow, they filmed it for Rockpalast lol. from this day I decided I will one day move to Scotland and well, here I'm .In 1996 I done follow Runrig as much I could, the Long Distance in Germany accept 2, been with Frank Neubauer ( he organized the bus tour) and lots of other Runrig fans in two busses just to Leister and back, sleeping in the bus. Our bumbs were really sore but it was really worse it. Well after more gigs 1997 came along and in May I moved straight up to Skye and I never regret this decission I ever made and I love it to be on Skye and I'm not attanding to move away from Skye. Thanx to Runrig, they changed my life and I met so many nice Riggies and even we managed to have a "Riggie Lassies" Tug of War team since this year and hope we'll getting stronger and stronger for next year and more to come lol. I don't have just one fav song, no I can't decide which one it will be but I do have some all times fav like !The Crowded River, Canada, some Gaelic songs of course, ISOA and many many more. But my fav album in this moment is Proterra is running over and over again. Through Runrig I learned to love many other Scottish bands like Pearbog faeries, Phil Cunnigham, of course Donald Black, Wolfstone (can't wait to see them again ),Heardland ( they have an album out called "The red Shed" and many many others and of course The Proclaimers.
A big cooooeeeee to you all.  My name is Tam.  I am 35 and have never grownup.  I first heard Runrig in 1985 whilst visiting my pal in Aberdeen.  I first saw the boys in concert in Blackburn in 1990something.  I can never
remember dates.  Hey I was young and foolish ok!  I was amazed to find a band that was better live than on tape.  Since then I've been hooked.  I play keyboards in a rock band and the bagpipes in two pipe bands in North
Yorkshire and County Durham.  My biggest gig was in front of 500 tourists at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, Belgium (pic is just after playing then laying a wreath).  It's the only time I've had to play while wearing a nappy! I've only been playing a year so it was a big day for me.  I played "The Dark Isle", a beautiful slow air.  My favourite song is Alba on Transmitting Live.  Every single time I hear it, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.  This can cause problems on public transport.  I used to be able to wiggle my ears but now have to make do with the hairy neck trick thing.  It doesnt half upset the tiny lobsters living in my crown region though.  Just as they are nodding off, the stand up hair routine wakes them up.  Then the little blighters are clip clip clipping in my ears all night.  Puts me right off Emmerdale.  Why does the opening tune show pictures of people who are not in the soap?  And what's all that slapping about?  My second favourite song of all time is the cheeky girls and that catchy touch my bum one. Musically it's fantastic.  Favourite tune at the moment is "Make Way For Noddy" as it is the last thing I hear in the morning as I leave the house for work.  You know when you cant stop humming a tune.  Nuff said. That's about the sum of me.  I love my music.  I have one admission to make in public and that is I am yet to buy Proterra.  I've been dropping hints to the long haired sheriff so we'll see what Christmas brings.Take Care
