Situated on the second floor of Okonomimura, Chi-chan is my favourite okonomiyaki shop in town. The shop has existed for over 40 years, and the original owner was one of the founding members of Okonomimura. My recommendation is the Chi-chan Special ~ a great okonomiyaki topped with shrimp, squid, spring onions, egg and ginger. There is also a great selection of teppanyaki options on the menu too, and in the winter months the oysters with lemon are definitely worth a try. A place that must be visited if you are in Hiroshima. |
