Who am I, you might be wondering. Well, my name is Sean Smith, and I was born in the UK, but I'm currently living in Japan. I've been here since 1997 and I work as an English teacher in the city of Hiroshima. I like the lifestyle in Asia, and so I will probably be here for some time yet.
Prior to living in Japan, I lived and worked as a teacher in Katowice in Poland for a bit over three years. And before that I lived in France for two or three years on and off, where I was first a student, and then working in various part-time jobs, including a spell as a bellboy in an Alpine hotel.
My hobbies and interests include listening to music (a fairly important part of my life), watching films, travel, cooking, reading, jogging, chatting on Yahoo!, playing Championship Manager 3 (it sometimes takes up too much of my time!), watching Formula 1, following the fortunes of Tottenham Hotspur and my home team Dover Athletic, and, when I'm not feeling too lazy, trying to improve my Japanese and improving my computer design skills.
